Site Tour – Parallel Sessions (Rotating Groups)
Participants will be divided into two groups, rotating between the Digital Initiatives Roadshow and the Packaging Facility Tour.
Digital Initiatives Roadshow – 45 min
This session showcases how Puurs is leveraging digital, data, and AI to support complex GMP operations and accelerate value creation on the shop floor and in support functions.
Key focus areas include:
Advanced analytics, AI, and automation applied in manufacturing, labs, and packaging
OT/IT integration in a highly heterogeneous automation landscape
Digital solutions supporting paperless operations, data integrity, and compliance
The roadshow emphasizes Puurs’ ambition to act as a frontrunner in digital and disruptive technologies, with strong ownership at site level and close collaboration between business and digital teams.
Packaging Facility Tour – 45 min
The packaging tour provides an on-the-ground view of one of Puurs’ core capabilities: large-scale, highly automated packaging and supply operations supporting a broad portfolio of injectable and sterile products.
During the visit, participants will learn about:
The organization and scale of packaging activities at Puurs
Integration of quality, safety, and efficiency in daily operations
Use of digital tools and automation to support traceability, right-first-time execution, and release timelines
The tour illustrates how operational excellence and digital enablement are combined to ensure robust, compliant, and efficient packaging processes that reliably serve patients worldwide.
